Labor Candidate for Beaudesert, Brett Raguse, said that the calling of
the election for September 9 means that the residents now have a chance
to choose the way forward for Beaudesert.
Although the election has been called six months early, Mr Raguse is
optimistic that local issues concerning the Beaudesert electorate will
be foremost in people's minds when they vote in September.
"I feel that the local issues relating to transport, roads, health,
water, education and jobs are of critical importance to Beaudesert, and
the residents realise that these issues need to be addressed urgently.
"I am passionate about the area, and the residents are telling me that
these issues need to be addressed," he said.
